<p>The 2014 (updated edition) of honors college rankings does not rank them numerically but gives them up to five "mortarboards" overall and in several categories. Seven honors programs got five mortarboards overall (alphabetical order): Arizona State (Barrett), Kansas, Michigan, Penn State (Schreyer), South Carolina, Texas (Plan II), and Virginia (Echols).</p>

<p>great honors program. Capstone program (if you don’t get into honors but are still really smart) is phenomenal as well. Don’t be surprised if you don’t get into honors because it’s harder than you’d think. I had a 33 ACT and 3.8 GPA and didn’t get into honors. You never know.</p>
