Honors college requirements for Pace University?

On the Pace website for the honors college, it reads, "To be considered for the Honors College, incoming Freshman students must have a minimum high school average of 90 or higher, a minimum SAT Critical Reading and Math score of 550 or higher and a minimum cumulative SAT score of 1200 between those two sections (minimum ACT score of 27).

I’m confused, so do I need a 550 or 600 on each section to be considered???

They’re saying you need at least 1200 total but each section must be at least 550. So, for example, if you got 500 on math and 700 on CR, you would have a 1200, but that wouldn’t be sufficient because the math score is below 550. They would prefer that you have 550 math and 650 CR, also giving you a 1200, but this time meeting the requirements for each section as well.
