I was wondering if anyone has heard from the Honors College or University Scholars Program yet? It’s probably still a bit early as people are still getting their letters, but I believe they should be mailing those out this week. Anyway, post as you hear!

I haven’t heard yet but I thought they mailed out much later, like in February? I may be wrong though.

I don’t think anytime soon. When I applied I recieved an email saying students who applied to Honors College and/or University Scholars will learn around mid-February since they still need to consider regular decisions as well. But this maybe can change I assume? Not 100% sure

Ohh maybe I think I was looking at past years posts and they said it came a couple days after receiving the admission letter! I guess well see.

I went online and it said March 15 so you still have a couple of months to wait

I was curious if around February was right, so I contacted one of the admissions officers. He wrote this “Honors College and University Scholars programs. Those decisions have not yet been made. If you are admitted to the Honors College or selected a University Scholar you will hear about that in mid-January.”

Do you’ll think we’ll hear about honors college this week?
My son just received his honors college acceptance. We live in state. There is an Honors College function on March 1st.
Same as above. I received my honors college acceptance today. Has anyone heard about University Scholars?
Good news for me, I heard today as well from the Honors College….for anybody wondering it was a big see-through envelope.
I got it to! It was a very nice envelope.
I’m curious, what state do you live. Or is it still instate letters first
I live instate
We got ours on Tuesday!! and live instate. I called the admissions office last week and they told me they started sending them out and will be sending them out over the next 3 weeks.
Has anyone tried to RSVP to the honors celebration on March 1st? Seems the website listed on the card isn’t working for me.
For future Honors hopefuls can any of you share GPA’s, SAT scores and class rank?
Does anyone know if they’ve all been delivered?
Got an email around 1:30pm EST today, still haven’t received my letter (Central NJ). Does anyone know if it reduces tuition at all? I realize George Mason is fairly cheap relatively and I’d assume my chances of getting a merit scholarship now are high, but Honors College doesn’t provide a specific reduction does it?
Acceptance into the honors college does not guarantee merit aid.

Got my letter 1/21

As far as I know the honors college doesn’t offer you scholarships, but with acceptance in to the University Scholars Program tuition is free.
