Honors College, William Aiken Fellows & new scholarships?

When D checked on her application status yesterday, she then asked when/how honors college decisions would be communicated. I had her look at the honors college website & we saw this:

"Only Honors College applications that are received and completed by December 1st will be considered for the William Aiken Fellows Society. The invitation to be interviewed for the William Aiken Fellows Society will be included in the Honors College decision letters sent before the December holidays. The interview weekend will be held on Friday, February 1st - Saturday, February 2nd. Students who are considered for this society are also eligible for several prestigious Honors College Scholarships...Swanson Scholars & Huge Scholars."

So it sounds like Honors College decision letters should be sent sometime this week. But I was surprised about the Swanson & Huge scholars as I'm usually pretty thorough about knowing about a school's offerings. Looks like the Swanson program was just announced in July 2012, while the Huge program was just announced on December 3rd.

Best of luck to those eligible! Does anyone have any information about the William Aiken Fellows? Looks like that's been around since 2009.
thanks!

No info on specific scholarships, but anxiously awaiting news from the Honors College.
