Honors College?

<p>I am learning so much from this forum!! I’ve gone back and read tons of older posts. :slight_smile: </p>

<p>Can someone tell me about the Honors College? I am possibly interested in this. What are the advantages/disadvantages? Are honors classes really that much harder than regular, or just different? What are the differences? </p>

<p>Also, do you have to live in honors housing if you’re in the honors college? I can’t really afford the prices of the honors dorms. </p>

<p>And is there a minimum academic requirement for honors college? My GPA is 3.8 and SAT combined score (math and reading) of 1320, hoping to pull that up this fall to the 1400 needed for Presidential Scholarship.</p>
