Has anyone heard from the Honors College yet? I'm in-state and have yet to hear.

My daughter received her acceptance letter to Honors College today. She received her regular admission letter on Thursday. We are out of state.

Received Honors College acceptance today, also invitation to William Aiken Fellows.

Northerngirl12 and cb2012,

Congratulations!!! What states are you in??? Waiting for letter in CT.

Thanks

How are the invitations to the William Aiken fellows sent? Are they always included in the Honors College acceptance letter or are they sent separately?

My daughter received her acceptance to the Honors College yesterday and we are in state. :)

Waiting on letter, here in RI. For the people who are admitted, are you going to attend? If my son gets into Honors, pretty sure he will go. He might go anyway!

DadQuestion - we are in NJ.

SS received acceptance into Honors College on the 23rd. I saw on the website that the majority of students accepted into HC also receive scholarships, but no word on amount, or when those are announced. Does anyone know? I could find nothing on the website as to when that information will come out.

I called the admissions office last week and was told merit money letters go out in mid-February.

Anyone else in Maryland? I’m still waiting on my honors letter…

Thought I would bump this topic…anyone receiving Honors College responses?

No, hoping for good news by the end of Jan.

Acceptance for Honors came in mail yesterday for my Son. We live in RI.

D just today got her acceptance to both CofC and the honors college. Nothing about scholarships, although as an earlier poster said, supposedly letters go out in mid Feb. I hope that is the case since the online cost calculator showed 19k in scholarships.

I was accepted into the Honors College December 19 and received my general admission later in the same packet. I’m in-state (South Carolina).

My daughter received a very nice merit scholarship but was wait listed for the Honors College–still trying to figure that one out? We are out of state.

Yes that is interesting. Son in at Honors, but no merit money, out of state. Wonder if it has to do with boy/girl ratio. We are hoping for business school scholarship to help with costs.
