<p>Has anyone heard anything about the honors college? Anyone invited yet?</p>
<p>Students admitted get a notice to join the Honors “Program” (not college) a couple of weeks after admittance. If you didn’t get in unsolicited, you can petition to join now by following a set process that includes an application, essays, and supporting reference letters. I know of one person who petitioned, and that person got in. Don’t know how hard it is to petition in a general sense.</p>
<p>It’s worth the trouble, so to speak, due to undergrad benefits. One of the benefits involves early registration for classes as opposed to overall population of your graduating class.</p>
<p>MY son i in the program and there have been alot of benefite, early registration, some great lectures and when school started some great get togethers. Also they have a great lounge to hang out in between classes and the honors advisors are amazing and helpful</p>

<p>Curious about April 23rd. Our daughter was accepted to Honors program, and we were going by the basic May 1st housing deposit dealine.</p>
