Honors College

I was curious if there is typically a high number of early admit students that are accepted into the Honors College? Or if that isn’t always the case. Thank you!

It’s my understanding that Honors College applications are evaluated individually, completely separate from the Admissions application, and are heavily essay dependent. So you’ll see a cross-section of acceptance from both early acceptances and those who are accepted later.

Results are out for priority applications. Just after 6pm on the day Clemson said for the future people.

My daughter was accepted to the HC OOS this evening!

Another OOS Honors offer for our Georgia peach–no word on amy merit though.

Does anyone know if the non-priority Honors College applications, which are scheduled to hear back by 4/1, are reviewed and notified on a rolling basis or are all the non-priority HC apps decisions released on a specific date like the priority ones were?

Congrats! Which others?

For some reason by daughters Honor I’m

I was curious if those that received the early admit into the honors college also received the most generous financial aid awards as well? Anxiously awaiting the April 1 decisions! Thanks

Mine got 8k OOS and is in honors.
I hope you hear great news soon!

That’s wonderful! Congratulations!! :tada: Thank you so very much!!

Same with us. My daughter OOS is in honors and received 8000 a year. Congrats to yours!

My daughter got a fairly decent financial aid offer, so we were hopeful that would also result in acceptance into the Honors College. Clearly they aren’t related as she found out last night she wasn’t accepted. Does anyone have any information regarding the reconsideration appeal process and if it worth pursuing? Thank you!

I was told that the essay is quite influential in the Honors College decision. I’ve never heard of being able to appeal, but I would call to ask. I do know you can reapply after your first semester.

FA or merit award?
