Okay so who is completely stumped on the honors essays?!

I was, until I started thinking about it a bit more. I’ve settled on Prompt 4. Although I really have absolutely no clue where they want people to go with that Purple Rose of Cairo-esque situation.

Though I wonder if it’s even worth the effort for me, I never actually got an email from them and my stats seem too low (3.85 UW GPA, 30 ACT) to even try. Oh well.

I’m thinking number 3. The whole Mount Rushmore of Music just appeals to me.

I feel like number 1 should be the easiest, but on my 20 attempts to write it, I keep thinking how crappy it is! I just don’t know how to write the other 3 without analyzing and being creative, ya know?

Really? I loved those prompts with a passion, and just randomly chose one, wrote the essay in an hour, sent it to someone else to tell me if they thought it was good, and then sent it off. Maybe it’s just me though.

remember the more exotic the answer, the better

It’s been more than 2 weeks since I submitted mine and I still have no response :>. Does anyone know when decisions are (usually) released?

I chose the first one since that’s where I could pretty much branch off into whatever random thoughts I was thinking. But my essay pretty much sucks!
