I was wondering if taking honor classes help your gpa such as AP? I'm assuming it doesn't, just want to make sure.

At my school you get .5 more for the class on the gpa scale. 1 full point is weighted for APs.

oh does it count for every schooLL????? Or just yours

It varies from school to school. Some don't weight it at all.

I do not know why it wouldn't I have taken honors classes harder then AP.

not at mine

My school weighs AP and honors the same. They bothare given a 5 instead of a 4. Honors and regular classes are 1/2 a year in my school(exception: Econ H. 1/4 year).

honors is weighted an extra .5 and AP/IB is weighted an extra 2 (if you get an A)!!

you have to ask your counselor. Grading systems vary from school to school.

at my school honors is +3 points and ap is +12 points

At my school your grade for AP Calculus BC is worth just as much as your grade for Gym. Weighting? pfft, thats for ppl who cant get a 100

(I wish my school had weighting :'( )

My school weights Honors and APs the same. :)

No. That's why a third of 500 graduating students were inducted into the national honor society last year. Grade inflation, what?

No weight, and it sucks. I'd have a 6.0 if both AP and honors counted :)
