Honors Courses & Honor Societys?

<p>Will taking Honors Courses or joining the Honor Society at a community college increase my chances in getting accepted at a top school? How much of a difference would it actually make?</p>

<p>They have a society called Phi Theta Kappa at my school, and it's a honor's society for community college. I'm thinking about joining.</p>

<p>I dont know about increasing your chances, but I got a renewable scholarship to the school I’m transferring to which made joining worth while. It can’t hurt, imo.</p>
