<p>At my school we don't really have honors courses. We have pre-AP and advanced classes. Are these like the same as honors courses?</p>
<p>Yes. Your school profile will mention that, and advanced/pre-AP classes will likely be viewed the same way.</p>
<p>why the hell dont schools just call classes Honors. Pre-AP...what the hell...it's either AP or it isnt. AP=college level.therefore all classes are Pre-AP.</p>
<p>Same thing, we've Pre-AP instead of Honours. I just recently found out there is no difference. But Pre-AP sounds better :))</p>
<p>[that reminds of a story when I was placed into pre-algebra in 8th grade, which I did get out from two weeks after beginning of school year and get into Pre-AP. Then I thought they put me into pre-something again, and I was crazy all the day until teacher told me that Pre-Algebra and Pre-AP Algebra aren't equal. ROFL, so lame :)) ]</p>
