<p>Do UCs weight honors courses for OOS applicants?</p>

<p>Basically, I marked virtually all my classes as honors-level, because they are, but how can I know which ones will actually recieve the weight the UCs give to UC-approved honors courses (available only for HSchools in Cali…).</p>

<p>I’ve taken 4 APs, which I know are weighted for sure, but that’s only half of a possible 8 “bonus” points :P.</p>

<p>The dif in my UC GPA would be like 4.17 vs 4.42.</p>

<p>Well, according to the UC website, OOS students won't be given weight for anything other than AP/IB courses. What a bummer! I wonder how that contributes to admissions decisions.</p>

<p>I believe its 8 semester bonus points. Meaning if your APs are 2 semesters each then that totals to 8 semester bonus points.</p>
