Honors Dorm Vs. Kinsolving FIG program

Hello!

I need advice on housing... I'm a girl admitted to Electrical Engineering, but I'm a non-honors student interested in the honors dorms.
I have a potential roommate that is in the honors program for her major, and she's interested in rooming with me, but I'm torn between Kinsolving's residential engineering fig group and the honors dorms.
I definitely will take advantage of the WEP and PALS programs, but I'm not sure if being in the residential fig will cause my freshmen year to be surrounded by engineering students, which is cool, but I am also interested in meeting students in other majors too.

Thanks in advance!

Most likely, you will not be able to be in the honors dorm. They only allow honors students and a select few others that are approved by the honors center to live in the honors quad. Your roommate will have to choose on her dorm preferences whether it is more preferable to stay in honors dorm without you, or be your roommate regardless of what dorm you get in.

Thank you very much for your response. That helps clears up the decision. :)
