Congrats! 1300 is the dorm for all Honors students. I would get the cheapest meal plan possible, the food trucks around TU are amazing. Not sure about the fridge and microwave, I know some dorms allow them but not sure about 1300.
the llc for honors cost should be a lot less to live in. more answers on other questions to come. ask Temple to get u in touch wiht business honors students for tjheir input on your questions too. i would contact Temple honors directly, calling would be easiest, and let them know you would like to be able to contact current students who are both business and honors. They will help you get this ball rolling.
Congrats! My son lives in 1300 but he’s not in honors. He’s also OOS and is an art student so there is a mixture of kids in the building. Lots of kids have the combination microwave/refrigerator. Each suite (2 bedrooms/4 students) can have up to 2 refrigerators. The microwave from the rental company is the only one approved for use in the dorms. you’ll receive info about rentals over the summer.
Congrats on getting accepted into Fox Honors. The Honors LLC is composed of not only business students, but all other majors. 1300 is not just an honors dorm since a number of non-honors and athletes live in the building. However, from what I recall, the honors program is given priority for the majority of the building. A nice amount of my Fox Honors friends live in the Honors LLC rather than the Fox LLC.I would recommend getting in touch with the Honors Program office and asking if you could speak to a Fox Honors student in the Honors Admissions & Transition Team (HATT)
Hi! I’m currently a freshman in Fox Honors. I do not know anyone in the Fox LLC; everyone lives in the Honors one. I think that’s better because you get to meet a variety of people. Also being honors, you’ll likely get involved with business early anyway. And you need at least 10 meals a week because you’ll live in a room without a kitchen.
I’m on HATT too so you can message me if you have specific questions.
i’d research and use their rommate matching program, My kid did not and lucked out. however, take advantage of the technology y’all have(compared to when i was in school) and see if you can find a good match for you,
