so i am currently in 9th grade and i took this accelerated class that is basicaly an intor to chem and physics, but the highest course (most intellectualy challenging) was honors biology which i am taking in tenth grade; but the most intellectually challenging course in 10th grade is honors chemistry, if i am taking honors biology will collleges look down at me because it is not like honors chem, or because they're both honors will they not care. colleges like jhu, penn, etc.

I doubt that 1 soph year class is going to make a difference.

The main thing to be aware of is that when you apply to colleges, your HS GC will be asked if you took the most demanding, very demanding, demanding, etc. coarsework relative to what is offered and what other students take at your HS. Highly selective colleges like JHU and Penn will be expecting you to take the most demanding schedule and have high grades as well.

You could double up. I took honors bio and honors chemistry a sophomore; but only do it if you like science!!
