I just wanted to know how will I be notified of acceptance/rejection in honors program.

I got the acceptance letter, but I did not get any information regarding my honors application statues.

Does that mean I am rejected? accepted? no idea.

No, Honors will send you a notification in April.

So, this doesn’t mean you’ve been rejected! Nobody knows if they got into honors yet =)

Edit: As for your chances, I really want to emphasize that your essays (especially Honors application essays) are REALLY important. So from looking at the information about you given so far, I can’t really be a good judge on in or not, ** even with very strong test scores and GPA **.

few more chance evaluation would really be appreciated.

It is near impossible to predict honors admissions without seeing your essays (which I’m sure you don’t want to post on the world wide web). I’ve seen kids with your stats not get into honors and it was because they bs’d the essays. You have your foot in the door, but the essays are what really matter.

^^ Seconding that. Sorry. Honors Program admission is really all about the essays and letter of recommendation. I’ve known people who got into Ivy League schools, and some NASA Space Grant scholars, who were rejected by the Honors Program.
