<p>Does anyone know of any statistics for the students invited into the Honors program? The only thing I saw pertained to being in the top 5% of their graduating class (I think). Any idea how many students are invited? Is the top 5% a hard and fast rule? Any avg ACT/SAT and gpa stats? Any advantage in applying ED?</p>

<p>Your figure of top 5% of their graduating class can’t possibly be right. My S is a freshman in the honors program, and he wasn’t even in the top 10% of his graduating class! I don’t have any statistics for you, he did apply ED but I doubt that makes much difference. His stats - 31 ACT, about 4.1 weighted GPA. I would guess it could be the top 5% of the accepted class of students.</p>
