Honors Program and University Fellows

<p>I would agree that the classes that are required for, or directly support or lead to those classes that are looked at for GPA purposes for Med School should be taken again. My S is going into Business school, so getting 8 credits at Bama for his 5 score in AP Physics is a no brainer! Also, he’s in Calc this year, so he’ll get 8 more math credits if he gets above a 3 on his Calc BC AP test, and math is his best subject. He’ll have 30 credits coming to Bama, and that also includes that he’s seriously considering taking Eng 10x at our local JC before coming down to UA so that he’ll have one of those darn writing classes done beforehand as well. He’s not an AP kid in Eng or Lit. He also get’s 4 credit hours of dual-credit for an honors earth science he’s taking this semester. Starting with extra credit / sophomore standing has other benefits to your child like early registration, etc. when also a member of Honors College. Each plan is different for each student.
