Honors Program Application?

I need advice from people already in the program

Right now I'm a freshman and I want to get into the honors program sophomore year. They want 4 things in the application:

Essay - I'll beast it

Resume - I have never lifted a finger in the name of extra curricular activity or work experience in my entire life. Ever.

Transcript -
Fall 2011:
General Biology I - A
General Chemistry I - A
Expository Writing - A
Intro to Experimentation - A
Calculus II - A

Spring 2012 (I can confidently predict):
General Biology II - A
General Chemistry II - A
Research in the Disciplines - A
Death and Afterlife - A
Religion and Science - A

Optional Letter - I don't know any of my professors like that

As you can see I'll have 2 good sections of the app and a complete absence of the other 2. Do you think they'll take me....I can always lie on my extras right?

Let’s see, you want to lie to get into the honors program. This is a joke, right?

LOL obviously I’m not going to “lie” because its too risky…I meant exaggerate like everybody does. I’m a member of NSCS for example…I’ll call myself an active member…idk

“Everyone” does not exaggerate. In fact, when my son was applying to colleges, I had to tell him to include more trivia; he did not want to appear as if he were bragging!

Try not to do what you think everyone else does. Try to always be ethical. It may not seem good in the short term but in the end, you’ll be able to sleep at night.
