i know my numbers are kind of terrible but can i get into uw honors? or even uw. thanks again.

I would be surprised if you didn't get into UW. I don't know how hard it is to get into honors but the gpa hurts your chances. You have plenty of pluses and based on the debate portion you may be able to convince them to letting you in.

i think you will get into the UW, but i don't think you would get into the honors program. great EC's but i would think your GPA kind of hurts your chances.

My daughter was offered a spot last April. With a math score well over 700, a 3.9 GPA and great essays. I think these are about the rock bottom sats that would get you in. Other where offered spots long before she was.

is the honors program nearly all numbers based then, ie, would someone with great ec's but less stellar stats stand a chance?

I recall the Honors Program being stats and essay based. I'm certain a less than great verbal score put her on the alternate list. They got to her after many turned down the Univeristy Washington for other schools. Otherwise she would have been notified earlier than she was. She was admitted in January. Many were admitted to the Honors Program about that time.

i think i reamember reading the average SAT score is 1399 and the average GPA is 3.9 so it is based alot of those stats.

4.0, 2180 SAT, Varsity everything, community service everything... rejected from UW honors

sorry guy, i think think so with that 3.2
