Son received his acceptance two weeks before Christmas. So far no other news. Any chance for honors?

Definitely a great chance, I’d say!

I think your son has a great chance, too. Sometimes it takes time to be named to the Honors Program. My son was named to the program three years ago with scores a little lower than yours. In his case, he was admitted to UMN in October, but didn’t get the Honors notification until March. All you can do is wait at this point.
