Honors Program Early Action Admittance

Auto Admit!
4.0 UW
In state
34 ACT

Believe it or not, auto-admitted too :)

35 ACT
3.85 UW

Congrats to everyone. I was so close… I got the Charter scholarship, which means I was in the top 6-8% applicants. DARN IT. I’ll be applying, though!

@Emorylegacy, how did you find out about receiving the scholarship? On another note, does anyone know when UGA announces the next round of FF/BR scholarship??

I feel stupid, but… one month later (today) I scrolled down the acceptance page and saw the Scholarship section. I didn’t know what the Scholarship was, so I looked it up. $1k, not bad :3 especially with HOPE and being in state

I asked my DD to look for scholarship information but she was not able to find. Can some one post detailed instructions on where to look ?

JonDrums-the finalists are notified late Jan.

For those auto admitted have a look at the CURO program
[Welcome to the University of Georgia Honors Program](CURO Honors Scholarship - UGA Morehead Honors College)
Applications due Feb 1.

@prdparent - Last year the scholarship information showed up on the same page where it showed the checklist for all the application info

“Automatic” admission.

SAT - 2290 (CR - 780, W - 790, M - 720)
GPA - 3.86 (unweighted)

Is it safe to assume that if I haven’t received any auto admit notification then I haven’t been auto admitted and should fill out an honors application and send it in?

eam1994, Yes.

Best of luck to us both in the process! :)
