Did anyone else get an e-mail from UCI about the honors program.

This is what the e-mail said:

"This event is by invitation only, and is a chance for Honors students like you to explore UC Irvines Campuswide Honors Program and meet Honors faculty and students. Come for morning information sessions on the Honors program and benefits, a complimentary lunch, afternoon sessions on schools and majors, Honors housing tours, campus tours, library tours and more!"

Should I be happy about this or is this like a mass email they send to everyone?

I was wondering the same thing...

3.4 UW, 3.77 UC, 4.05 W, 2330, 790, 790 for me and I got one.

What're your stats?

EDIT: I hope this is basically an accept because I haven't gotten a supplement from Cal or UCLA and I'm fearing the worst from them and it would be nice to at least make One UC. Maybe I should've applied to more than just four.

Hey, 4.1 UC 2270 SAT.

I searched threads on UCI forum and saw one that said if you are invited then you are already accepted.

Yeah I did not receive a regents invitation from UCLA and am sad about that. Hopefully I will get one at Berkeley.

It is not a mass email. I was admitted to berkeley and UCLA and UCI honors program. I went to uci with a chancellors scholarship and honors.

If you got that email, it is about 50% likely you will get the chancellors or regents scholarship.

Yes it is an accept.

When do Berkeley and UCLA inform applicants if they are admitted into honors?

What are your majors? Are they mostly for science majors?Does UCI send an email to student or do you have to check the my application status?

my major was political science. They sent me an email.

I meant i got into ucla, berkeley w/o honors but uci with honors.

Berkeley doesnt have an honors program.
