<p>I found out about the HPME at the end of November, so I was not able
to sign up for the December Math level 2 and Chemistry SAT II exams. I
submitted my request for the application along with a note explaining
this situation. Today, I received my application for HPME, meaning
that I have been approved by the screening committee. However, in the
letter, it explained that I have to take these two SAT II tests by
December. I hope my AP Calculus AB and AP Chemistry scores could count
in the place of these tests, but they seem to be mandatory according
to the application. So am I allowed to apply or not?</p>
<p>The application specifically states that there are no substitutions for SAT subject tests.</p>
<p>Yeah, I found out about it too late.
Now I have no reason to apply to Northwestern at all. Bye everyone! :'(</p>
<p>Really? I’m sure they would gladly take AP scores of 4,5 over SAT</p>
<p>Oh well, just got accepted into MIT. Guess I really won’t be applying. Good luck everyone else!</p>
