<p>Sadly, meeting the minimum requirements doesn’t give you admission. I am in the same position as you but has had a friend go through it last year. </p>
<p>You should get an invite in the mail with you decision notice to apply for the honors college. After you have to fill out another application with close to 3 more essays.</p>
<p>Apparently 1900 students qualify for the program, 1300 apply, and about 800 are admitted.</p>
<p>Not horrible numbers, but considering honors colleges at most state schools are a formality, you really have to have solid essays to get in.</p>
