<p>I already got into Illinois, so my questions are: 1) Who gets into the honors program? (ex:test scores), 2) What's it like? and 3) When will I be notified if I do get in?</p>
<p>Please also tell me if I'm a good candidate for the honors program (ACT 33, top 25%, Illinois resident).</p>
<p>The James Scholar Honors program is for anyone who was in the top 25% of incoming stats, e.g. either 99th percentile class rank or 1450 SAT or 33 ACT for Engineering. You don't really do much different except the biggest perk is priority registration, so you pretty much get to pick whichever classes and times you want to take.</p>
