Can anyone explain exactly what the Honors Program at BC entails? (College of Arts and Science)

I read the pamphlet but still don’t exactly understand it. It seems as if you have to take certain history courses? I really don’t want to major in history… most likely want to major in a science bc I want to do pre-med. If i enter into the honors program will I not be able to take as many classes as I’d like to?

You'll be able to take more. It's a 3 or 4 year sequence that bundles nearly all of your core classes into one double credit class. Definitely worth it no matter what your major is.

You can choose honors housing or go into the regular housing lottery, but if you pick honors housing you're basically guaranteed housing on upper campus. The seminar is a double credit class, so it takes the place of another class letting you only take 4 classes a semester. It's supposed to be double the work of a regular class, but with most professors it's more like half to the same amount of work. If you go to BC and do the program, make sure you check the PEPs for different professors on ugbc.com to find a good/easy professor, it will make your freshmen year 10x better.

if anyone in here goes to BC in the honors program/ knows someone at BC in the honors program, would they recommend living in the honors housing?

I got into BC EA, but not the honors program.
When I applied:

Now SAT 1: 770V 720M 650W.
Before SAT 2's: 710 ush 630 mathIIc 580 chem (took math and chem same day, wanted to cancel my scores but never got around to it)
Now SAT 2's: 780 mathIIc 740 Lit. 710ush (i guess theyll ignore the chem cuz its such an abberation and I have 3 scores already)

When I passed in my application in Oct, my score were much lower than right now. Do you think I could still get into the honors program with my new scores?
