Does anyone know how much harder it is to get into the honors program and what the program entails? Can any current GW students comment on the benifits/requierments of it? Is it possible to apply to the Honors program and get rejected from it but still accepted to normal GW?

From a close friend of mine at GW, who will be attending Georgetown Law next year, said that the honors program is not worth it at all. The only difference to her were extra seminar like classes.

Your friend was accepted to Georgetown Law so maybe it was worth it.

She denied acceptance into the honors program...

But, yes, it is indeed possible (as grapkoski mentioned) to be admitted to GW but denied entrance into the honors program. So, if you're interested in honors, go for it!

Oh I mean, she got into the honors program... she just didn't elect to do it, didn't think it was worth it
