For the honors college, it states that you can apply after your fall semester has concluded. My SAT was a 1980 and i was top 10% in my class. I was wondering what it takes to get into the honors program for applying during fall, any advice on courses and if i have a good shot of getting in, in the middle of the year, anything helps!

look for some research to do, get all A’s, take hard classes and you’ll get in.

It is more or less a lottery. Straight A’s, a 34 on ACT and a ton of EC’s and I did not get in. A good friend got in with lower GPA and a 30 ACT. Not sure where I fell short, but I am going to try to get in during the fall semester. I really wanted to live in Hume, but I will make the most of it.

Hume is an overpriced motel where socialization goes to die. Be glad you aren’t living there. The biggest upside to Honors is definitely the courses, not Hume.

So when you’re in Honors Program, you take different classes with all the people who are in the program? Or how does it work?
