Honors Program

Hi y'all,

I am transferring to a 4-year school in the fall and will be working on BS in Math. My current schedule for the next 2 years is here if you'd like to take a look:

<a href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0Agz4SrnzmWXzdEZ5b3c1bTBHVGNoeDlMdTNjcFJXQnc&single=true&gid=8&output=html%5B/url%5D">https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0Agz4SrnzmWXzdEZ5b3c1bTBHVGNoeDlMdTNjcFJXQnc&single=true&gid=8&output=html</a></p>

I am planning on going to grad school after that and looking at going into either Finance, Math, or Physics.

Now, my English professor here at the CC told me that I should apply to the university's honor's college and I did, and I got accepted.

However, when I was applying I didn't know that I'd have to basically take a writing intensive class each semester as a result. This means, that I would most likely have to give up 3 graduate level Math classes that I am planning to take in my last semester and 1 fourth-year Math class.

Should I do this? Is it worth it? Wouldn't it be better to learn more math than to spend time on writing/research?
