Is the honors program by invitation only? I see that there is an application online, but in the FAQ it mentions something about an invitation. My daughter did not get an invitation but would like to apply. She did get the Trustee Schooarship for $21000. Thank you!
@Lynnmo, any admitted student can apply for the program. The process is relatively simple which includes filling out the form available at https://secure.jotform.us/quhonors/apply and uploading a 500 word essay (prompt is available at link to the form). Application is due February 15th and we notify by April 1st.
Please let me know if you have any questions with this process. Kathy Cooke is the director of the honors program and loves to speak with prospective students. Also @cakeisgreat has a freshman daughter in the program and has been a wonderful resource here for parents and students alike, I’m sure she’ll help out if you have questions too!

@lynnmo yes any questions you have about honors I would be happy to answer if I can! My D LOVES the honors program. She met a lot of friends in that program and it felt like an instant group to help her get acclimated as a freshman. I believe we received an email to apply but if Paul gave you that link, use it. Also, I believe there is a generic website you can look at and email the leaders of you have questions. Do a search on the main Quinnipiac website and it should come up.

Has anyone heard back yet about acceptance into the program? I’m wondering if notification will go out prior to Accepted Students Day and if there will be an opportunity to meet other students that have been accepted.
Hi @lynnmo, not sure they have made notifications yet. Last year they were made right around April 1st, but you will have an opportunity to attend an honors reception/meet and greet during Admitted Student Day, anyone is welcome to attend.
