Honors Program

Hi,

So I was accepted EA into Villanova’s school of Arts & Sciences but I have not heard back about the honors program. I know it is competitive, but after seeing some statistics of people that were invited, I am confused as to what might have been wrong on my application.

Here are my stats.:

ACT: 32 (math: 35, english: 34, reading: 30, science: 29)
SATII: biology e: 720, math 2: 710

Weighted GPA (on 4.0 scale): 4.53 (my school does not provide unweighted GPA)
(I attend one of the best public high schools in NJ)

National Hispanic Recognition Program finalist

ECs:
President of the Spanish NHS
Co-founder of a Student Wellness committee that has raised over $8k for mental health awareness
Lead executive of an inter-district club for special needs children
Co-executive of the animal rights club
Member of the NHS and science NHS
Over 300 volunteer hours
Work about 10 hours per week
JV tennis player

My essays were unique and strong as well…If anyone can help me figure out what else I could have done, please let me know. Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone applying!

Hi!
I have similar stats and was also accepted, not invited to the honors program. I saw on the Villanova website that incoming students can apply, which is what I am planning on doing. Here is the link: http://www1.villanova.edu/villanova/honors/prospective_students.html
