<p>I posted some inquiries about this on the old board (sorry, I can't figure out how to link to that) and got some replies that left me somewhat confused. I just came across this link from the student newspaper that clarified a lot of what I was interested in finding out. <a href="http://phoenix.swarthmore.edu/2004-04-22/news/14015%5B/url%5D">http://phoenix.swarthmore.edu/2004-04-22/news/14015</a> Among the bits of information that I had sought was that the college did indeed have another track to graduating with honors (honorific distinctions in course) but eliminated it in 1990's. Anyhow, I just thought I'd post this link in case anyone else was interested in clarification of the recent history of the program.</p>
