It took me a longer time to get over it. I think I was still thinking about it during my 1st semester. Once I graduate next year, I will only own $4000 which I was happy about, compared to 110k at the other schools. Now I have to worry about grad school.

ASMAJ, out of curiousity, what schools were you accepted to? I turned down some too, but I am seriously contemplating doing a transfer my second year.

I got pretty high scores but only got into Colgate and Vassar. God bless being a male WASP. Even they wanted us to pay 35k a year which meant 25k in loans a year...

So I'm going to UF and got a hot new ride :-D. Now I'll graduate with no debt! I think that's better in the end anyway.

There are many really intelligent people at UF. Its kind of funny sometimes because you will see some people walking about in sweater of schools they either: wanted to go to, got accepted to, or got rejected. I have seen Duke, Emory, Harvard, UMiami, Yale.

yeah, I was really bummed out about not being able to afford going to Dartmouth or Cornell.

I really wanted to go to Cornell, wanted to see ithaca, cold weather, snow, hills, mountains, upstate new york....

BUT. Im hoping to get a masters in health services administration....so guess who offers one in college of human ecology! lol i guess i stem off my disappointment with graduate school dreams.

heck, my dad went to northeastern and then to Yale, why can't i go to cornell?

can't wait till PREVIEW though, going july 11 and 12, anyone else goin?
