hey i want to join the honors program but ive noticed most of the classes dont fit my major...should i take some classes anyway? also would i need classes like geol and history, human and bio and art regardless of my major?

and how many units can i take in summer?

lol, most of those questions depend upon what your goals are.

You can help us, help you, by stating what your major is, are you currently in a CC, and where you want to transfer.

Prepare to do a lot of research on your own, that is how most of us got to the transfer point. I'm sure we'll all be glad to help, but you need to figure out your own path because it will be unique to your major and your CC.

major undecided, berkeley, highschool student starting summer for first time

def wont be a science maj because i hate science, something more interesting maybe business for instance?

wait, so you attend Cal? or you wish to attend Cal, in the near future?

Just a warning, you and everyone's mother is a business major. Take a few intriguing classes over the summer and figure out what you want your major to be, try to do it ASAP if you really want to get out in 2 years.

You'll have to take science, math, humanities, social sciences and everything else in between to transfer. Go to your CC (if you're attending a CC, if you're going to Cal then what are you doing here? lol) and find the IGETC form.

Run with it from there. It should become more clear.
