Honors Program?

So, I received my RD acceptance to CofC in December, only about a week after I submitted my app. I got the Presidential Scholarship, and applied to the Honors Program. However, I have yet to hear whether I was accepted to the honors program or not, and my decision rides pretty heavily on that fact...
Anyone know if I can find out my decision? What date should I expect some kind of notification?
How competitive is the program?

When did you actually submit your Honors Application? Did you submit over the Internet or through a paper application? If you submitted the Honors Application quite some time ago, you should have heard back at this point. After waiting for a while, I eventually e-mailed the Honors College, only to find out my application came in through the Internet and was in the regular admissions file, not in the Honors College. Once they got that straightened out, it was only a few weeks until I got the notification. If you applied online, go back to the application page, where you should be able to find Confirmation information, and if you send that along, they should be able to help you without too much issue. The folks down there are super helpful and have answered any questions quickly. You can e-mail the Honors College at honors@cofc.edu. Good luck with everything!

I submitted it online…Sometime in Feb. I mean, I know that wasn’t too terribly long ago, I just thought it was somewhat odd since they had replied to everything else so quickly. I will definitely try to email them though! Thanks for your help!

Are you going to CofC?

I’m not sure where I am going, but it is an option at this point. Good luck with the Honors College Decision.

So, I just wanted to thank you for responding to this post!! I contacted CofC and that is EXACTLY what happened to my application! I would have never suspected that if you hadn’t told me that’s what happened to you! SO THANKS SO MUCH! :)

Glad to have been of assistance.
