Honors Program

I was accepted to the Honors program; however, I have been told that schools reserve the right to rescind acceptance if a student does not maintain their grades. I will most likely finish the year with a C in AP Calc AB, and though I will have As or Bs in all other classes, is it possible that they will not allow me in the honors program due to this C?

Also, I am unsure of what I want to do, and would prefer a liberal arts-style education (lots of humanities, classes with little practical applicability), at least for my first year. It seems that most of NEU's regular programs are career-focused, with little room for exploration, but is the honors program any different?

The honors program just means you have to take 6 classes that have the word “honors” on them, and if you choose to, to do a year long research project your junior/senior years.

It doesn’t change your major at all.
