Honors program?

So I was accepted into the honors program at BU, but don’t know much about it. Does anyone know anything?

well, here’s the general site giving you info on the honors program itself:
[Honors Program | College of Arts and Sciences | Boston University](http://www.bu.edu/cas/honors/about/index.html)

and basically, what i’ve heard so far is that the program gives you
a. access to specialty honors housing, which appears to be the brownstone places usually only accessible to upperclassmen
b. access to one (?) ‘honors’ course per semester of your choice (with i think it was a pool of 20 to choose from initially)
c. in the end, a diploma with honors! :)

Yea. I didn’t know there was an honors program at BU until I searched it on their website. I live in OH and at OSU & MiamiU you can apply for the honors college. For BU you have to be recommended/nominated and then verified for entrance by the committee.

I believe it’s usually the top 10% of the entering class.
