Honors Program

I have some questions about the Honors Program.

First, I was accepted into Business Administration Management.

It says "Honors students are exposed to subjects in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences." Does this mean I would have to take honors classes based on one of these? Because while I know English classes will be required, none of these classes really interest me nor do I believe I would excel in them.

Then, I see the requirements:
-Study abroad
-Attend meetings and events sponsored by UHP Student Society (How many and what are these)
-Complete Senior Assignment (what is this)
-Complete 19 units of courses designated as honors
-have a minimum of 3.5 gpa

I'm just wondering if someone who's in the Honors Program can give me the scoop on what its all about.

The classes and requirements are intended to make you good at business administration. They’re trying to get students to think outside the traditional business box. ;)

OK. So are you required to take honors classes in your emphasis of study (business)? Or can you pick and choose which honors courses to take between core (required) classes and others? Thanks.

I have started my application, but I am having the toughest time with the 1st prompt. It states:

“If you were the Director of the University Honors Program at SDSU and recently received a very, very large donation, what two programs, or co-curricular experiences, would you create or expand to make the University Honors Program a better place?”

The instructions are: Before starting your essay, you need to check out the current programs/experiences offered by the University Honors Program. You can research these by exploring our website at: honors_intro.

I have looked all over at the address mention above and cannot find any of the programs/experiecnes offered by SDSU. Can anyone give me an exact web address to find it or tell me what the programs are? Or is finding these programs part of the application?
