Honors Program

I'm admitted to the Honors Program at Rose Hill! I didn't expect to hear so soon, and I was completely shocked when I got the letter last week. I was admitted EA in December.

I've read through the info online and in the packet that was sent to me, but does anyone else have more info on the Honors Program?

Also, is there any correlation between the Honors Program and the Presidential Scholarship? I've received the Semifinalist Scholarship already, and with the Honors College invitation, the odds are weighing VERY heavily in Fordham's favor...but that last scholarship would definitely tip me over the edge and make my college decision for me.

Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks!

… My son (I’m proud!) was also accepted into the Honors program and I’m interested in learning about a po$$ible coorelation between the Honors program and Scholarships.

Thanks!

So you didn’t have to apply for the honors or anything? Because I was really hoping to get into the honors and Rose Hill but I haven’t heard anything…

There’s no application to the honors program, they automatically screen every applicant for potential. Financial aid and the honors program aren’t directly correlated because the honors program considers more than just gpa/ testing while financial aid is based primarily on those two. That said, being in the honors program means you are considered to be at least very close to the top of the class so you’re more likely to have the stats they’re looking for in scholarship award winners.
