W&M has various programs that allow priority registration.

The first of these is the Murray Scholars program, which if I remember correctly, comes with full tuition, a study abroad semester at Oxford, special seminar classes, and other closer contacts with faculty, among other things.

The second is the Monroe Scholars program which has special faculty lunches, seminars, and speakers, an honors dorm, and guaranteed summer research funding. It represents the top 7% of the incoming class, and special access to the Charles Center and attached lounge.

The final program is the Sharpe Community Scholars program which is focused on service learning and community engagement. It allows members honors housing (separate from Monroe), access to special classes, special research opportunities related to community engagement or health or local organizing or the like. It has special access to the Office of Community Engagement and Scholarship. Admittance is by application.
