<p>Ive gotten the letter that said I'm being considered for umich honors. But has anyone actually gotten into Umich honors yet? If so, when did u get admisison into undergrad, honors.....and what r ur stats (cludin instate/outtastate).</p>
<p>Alexandre...How important are the special honor college essay questions? Do they make a large impact on whether u get into the honors collge or not? And can it negatively hurt u also?</p>

<p>I'm a freshman in the honors program here at Michigan. It's pretty sweet and worth giving a shot. I was OOS, 1510/top 1%/white. As far as essays, I didn't have to do any. I really don't know why. They just accepted me. I think only some have to write essays, so I don't know how important they are.</p>
<p>The honors essay is obviously significant to a degree. Take it seriously and write a good piece. Be careful not to try to impress with fancy writing. Just write well and to the point.</p>
