honors question..

i just got my honors app in the mail today =] ... if i end up getting in, is it a big commitment? do i have to live in honors housing? is it much harder? lol am i going to be able to have a normal social life???

You do not have to live in honors housing though I'd select it. The extra work is not that bad except for the thesis.

Is it possible to be in the honors program for the first 2 years, and not participate in the honors concentration for your major?

chanky: participation in the honors program is determined by number of courses completed, not the number of years in which you take those courses. However, if (for whatever reason) you would like to complete all requirements for an honors program during only your first two years, that would be fairly easy to manage.

There are two honors program options: honors in the liberal arts (general education requirements) and honors in the major. Students can choose to complete either option by itself or both together. For more information, the best site is:
