Honors + Regents notifications? Has anyone heard yet?

Ok for those of you wondering, Regents is usually the TOP 2% of the applicant pool. Honors in the Engineering College is top 10%, and in L&S is “about” 10%.

I got it from these websites, although they haven’t been updated since 2011-12:
http://my.sa.ucsb.edu/catalog/2013-2014/CollegesDepartments/coe/CollegeofEngineeringHonorsProgram.aspx
http://www.ltsc.ucsb.edu/undergrad/honors
https://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/docs/default-source/PDFs/regents-scholars-program-2015.pdf?sfvrsn=18

I just wanted to know if anyone knew when we will be notified of Honors & regents? And also if anyone has been notified already.

Additionally, I think the reception invitation was sent out to the top 10% also… but I still don’t think it guarantees Honors because ppl in years past have said they got the reception invitation but no honors.

Last year, the regents letters were sent about a week after the chancellor letters - so maybe any day now! Don’t know about the honors programs.

UCSB just sent out Regents Scholarship envelopes.

^ through email?

No. By USPS mail. A big envelope with “Regents Scholarship” on it.

How do you know? Did you get one?

I got regents today in the mail!
