<p>This year my son is attending tenth grade at his high school. He says that he is sure that his high school only offers NHS. If the school does offer the other honors societies, then how do you get in. Do they recommend you, or give you a form if you meet the requirements, or I heard somewhere that you have to get a recommendation and register online at honorssociety.org.</p>
<p>You send an application once they offer you a spot (based on GPA). That’s how it was at my school, anyway. It’s probably a waste of time unless the society is really active.</p>
