Hey guys. My teacher last year put me into Honors Spanish (I'm a sophomore now), and I had a 92 average in that class. Now, on my first day of school, this course seems SO hard. The teacher only spoke in Spanish and made us write a paper in Spanish on the first day. I'm pretty intimidated by this teacher.

The teacher, I've heard, is really fun and nice. I could understand the gist of what she was saying, but I could not understand word for word. Should I drop down to a lower level (honors is the highest here), or should I continue to stick with this?

I'm taking spanish honors too. Im a junior.
I don't think you should drop...if your teacher personally put you in the class. If youre still feeling iffy about it go ASK your teacher about your problem. She will probably be able to help you out
p.s its always been hard for me to understand my spanish teacher lol. i mean come on we are not native speakers and the teacher is. not understanding spanish word for word shouldnt fret you.

don't sweat it. the first few days i was put into spanish honors last year i had the same problem for a few days. you probably have the same problem i had: i wasn't use to so much spanish. but you'll get used to it.
