I think it most likely means that you are accepted Congrats!

I got an email yesterday about checking in with my finacial aid and FASFA and then today I got an email from admissions about a CollegeWeekLive event tommorowâŠwhat does this mean??

A tad bit jealous of you guys. Hopefully theyâre still sending Honors invitations. Unfortunately I just realized that Iâd rather take up Computer Science instead of Computer Engineering; too bad I didnât know that earlier.

I wonder if part of it is what major you applied for. I never got an email about the Honors or Regent, but my major is Musical TheaterâŠ

I donât know, but Senior year is tormenting! x___x

I can relate megChai.

I called UCI yesterday and they said that you can still get the Regents Scholarship without being invited into CHP. Congrats to those who got in, and for those who did not, hold your heads up high We still got this, just have faith. Good luck to everyone

Are they still planning a 2nd wave of CHP invites this week?

So âThis page is intended for incoming freshmen students who have already been invited to join the Campuswide Honors Program for the class of 2017.â weâre basically in?

I just found that my son was accepted, and was selected for The Campuswide Honors Program (CHP). I havenât gotten any email notification yet. But when I log on MyAdmissionsApplication@UCI to see if thereâs any message, I was surprised to find the acceptance message. Best luck to you all. Hope you all can get in to the school of your choice.

My son also was accepted to CHP yesterday when he logged on, but he has not received an invitation to the open house event. Can anyone tell me the date of the CHP event?

The chp event is march 2. That happened to my friend also, he got an invitation through mail for April 3rd? But I looked for a chp event on April 3rd but I canât find where it says there is one.

I found this on the UC Irvine CHP website: [Campuswide Honors Program » News](http://www.honors.uci.edu/wp/page/2)
which seems to indicate there will be an event for prospective CHP students on March 2. But, the letter my son got also mentions April 3 and April 11 as dates for prospective honors students to visitâŠnot sure how this is different from the March 2 event?

Volunteer to help with âExperience Honors at UC Irvineâ

February 11, 2013 at 4:24 pm by cluiz

Experience Honors at UC Irvine (formerly Honors Experience Day) is coming up on March 2nd! This is our annual recruiting event for prospective students, and we need your help! We will need students to help with registration, greet/mingle, answer questions, and give housing tours, among other things. Volunteer registration will be open until Thursday, February 18th so SIGN UP NOW! All volunteers will get a t-shirt!

I wrote the CHP dept and asked what the difference is among the March 2, April 3 & 11 events for admitted prospective CHP students. This is the response, which clarified things for me:

"That is an excellent question. The March and April events are all the same- the only difference is which one your child was invited to. Due to space limitations we had to divide our recruitment event into 3 different dates but the events themselves are pretty much identical including the same presentation from us, an academic session for honors students, and campus and housing tours. The April events will present a more natural view of the campus (since there will be students going to and from class throughout the day) but there isnât necessarily one that will be more helpful from an honors perspective.

If the April 3rd or 11th program will not work for your son to attend, the campus hosts Celebrate UCI on Saturday April 20th. This event is for all prospective students but the Campuswide Honors Program will give our presentation (given at the March and early April events) one last time to all interested students, including those students already admitted to the program. We will send more information about that to students in the coming weeks. "

My son received a letter on 2/12/13 that he was accepted by the UCI Honors Program, pending his acceptance to the school. He received his acceptance letter on 2/23/13.
