To add a little information to those considering this institution. The Oaks Mall is about 4-5 miles down the road from the University. Most important store there as far as I am concerned: The Apple Store. Nice to know there is a place close by if something goes really really wrong with the students computer.

Last comments. Visit was a huge success. My DD is in love with the place. They were able to answer all her questions, and she got a lot of valuable information on her intended major. She also got career and internship info as well. She was delighted that students there remembered her from her earlier visit. This is in such contrast to her brothers university (one of the UCs) which does not have the intimacy that CLU has. This just about seals the deal for her, whether or not she get one of the scholarships offered this trip. Kudos to CLU for a great trip. BTW nice touch to give all the kids a stitched sweatshirt at the end.

My D also had a great honors day visit. Does anyone know when they are supposed to hear about the scholarships? Mine too will most likely attend there. it is a very good fit for her. Small school and extensive study abroad program. She plans to major in global studies and swim D3. She is waiting to hear from Oxy before making her final decision. I agree that the area around the school offers alot. Keeping fingers crossed. Good luck to you and you D.

Just got the offer from CLU with $5000 scholarship.
