Who else here got an invitation? Is anyone else going?

if i have already been on the uf tour and the friday honors tour, is it even worth while going?

Probably not. If you live close by (<1hr drive) then it wouldn't hurt.

yea, ive already been up for a general tour w/ the extra honors tour, the hispanic wknd, and not to mention many "unofficial" visits to games, etc. and plus i live 5 hrs away.

how did they determine who got this invitation?
i applied months ago and am a nmsf which i thought uf looked veryy favorably upon and have not recieved ANY sort of honors info from uf even though if i am admitted i am supposed to be automatically into the honors college because of the nmf thing...

it was based soley on SAT scores (1400 or above gets you in). Being invited does not mean u are admitted to the school, but not being invited does not mean you cant get into honors either. kids that scored above 1400 on the october test did not get invited.

i scored above 1400 and submitted those scores with my application august 29...
crap one more thing to worry about

Stupid 1380...for those who know, is this similar to the Outstanding Hispanic Weekend thing?

I'm pretty sure only Florida residents were invited, so I wouldn't stress if you are out-of-state and didn't get an invite.

ohh okay
i feel much better now

Agree with songsaboutjane..Only Florida residents where invited...
